The Russian e-Visa in five steps
Citizens of 65 countries can skip the consulate entirely and apply online. The applicable fee is shown on the official MFA portal; no invitation, hotel booking or tickets are required.

Confirm your nationality is on the current 65-state eVisa list. If not, use the checker to determine your visa-free or regular-visa route.

Apply online
Submit the application on the official MFA portal between 86 and 4 days before expected entry.

Pay the applicable fee
The official portal displays the current fee and exemptions. The published eVisa rule does not require an invitation.

Receive your eVisa
The official processing period is no more than 4 calendar days. Download the decision from your account and keep a printable or mobile copy.

Travel to Russia
Enter through an approved checkpoint. The eVisa is valid for 120 days from issue and permits 1 entry, with a stay of up to 30 days.
